We welcome applicants with a wide range of mental health experiences and professional registration including RMNs, OTs or social workers, who are able to work independently to provide holistic mental health assessments. You will understand what it takes to listen to someone's story and to use this along with your clinical knowledge to signpost the next best step across a range of NHS, social care and VCSE services. You will be a team player used to juggling a busy diary. You will be a good communicator, building positive working relationships and connecting with a range of health and social care professionals.
This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.

This is a community-based role that may require frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements.
You will be working with your colleagues to manage the current wait lists for secondary mental health services via triage and clinical review.
You will be expected to work in partnership working with GPs, other agencies and community mental health teams including, Early Interventions in Psychosis, Home Treatment Team and Talking Therapies.
The community mental health service is currently developing and is in a period of transformation, so now is an exciting time to be joining and involved with the implementation and development of news ways of working.
