Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, assisting them in their recovery journey. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and provide a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans for patients. Monitor patient behaviour and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and activities throughout the day. Facilitate group therapy sessions and engage patients in therapeutic activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of all patients by adhering to established protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Leadership qualities that inspire trust and confidence in patients and colleagues alike. Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining patient records and documentation.
