Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.00pm



To be successful in applying for this role you will need:



Have a professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy and have a current registration with the appropriate registration body (Nursing and Midwifery Council, Social Work England or Health and Care Professions Council).

Have the suitable experience in a mental health setting or have at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience within the mental health field.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.

Role responsibilities

:

To manage own working day in liaison with AMHP Hub Manager, to reduce additional hours worked and to minimise accrued TOIL. On occasion to deputise for the AMHP Hub Manager and manage handover of work at AMHP Hub, including accepting and triaging referrals. To provide information and support for nearest relatives and where appropriate carers and families. To assist with formal and informal education activities for Trust staff, other agencies service users and carers. Take a pro-active role in identifying risks and acting on the results to resolve problems at source wherever possible bearing in mind resources and priorities and liaising with Line Management. To undertake any other reasonable duty, when requested to do so by an appropriate Trust manager.
