About the Role

As a Mental Health Support Worker at Thornford Park, you'll be a crucial part of a multidisciplinary team providing exceptional care and support to patients with complex mental health needs, personality disorders, and challenging behaviours.

Your role will include:

Supporting patients in their daily routines and recovery journey Assisting with personal care, physical and emotional well-being Observing and reporting on patients' mental state and behaviour Working collaboratively with nursing and clinical teams Promoting independence and maintaining dignity at all times Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment

Requirements

At least

6 months of recent experience

in a mental health or secure setting PMVA Training (in-date certificate preferred) Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one) Strong communication, empathy, and resilience
