Shift Time: Days - 12 hours shift from 10am to 22:00.

Nights : 22:00 to 10am

FEMALE AND MALE SUPPORT WORKERS NEEDED

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide direct support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, PTSD, and addiction issues. Your energetic approach will help foster a safe, supportive environment where clients can work towards their personal goals.

You will be responsible for implementing individualized care plans, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of those in your care. Responsibilities



Assist clients with daily living activities, including medication administration, and meal preparation Conduct behavioral assessments and implement behavior management strategies using applied behavior analysis techniques Monitor vital signs and observe behavioral changes to inform care plans and ensure safety Respond promptly to crises or behavioral incidents through crisis intervention and crisis management protocols Collect and document medical records, behavioral data, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients during intake processes and facilitate social work interventions to promote social integration Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored care plans addressing mental health, developmental needs, and addiction recovery Engage in ongoing training related to medical terminology, medical documentation, and patient care best practices

Experience



Prior experience working with adults with Mental Health needs including developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Bipolar, or behavioral health conditions Proven ability to manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques Knowledge of addiction counseling methods and PTSD care strategies Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance Experience working within a supported living settings is highly desirable Ability to perform data collection accurately for behavioral health assessments and progress tracking Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and clients

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
