What you'll be doing



In this role you will manage key admin tasks, triaging student referrals and helping deliver impactful wellbeing projects and events. You'll play a part in ensuring students and staff receive timely support and contribute to wider awareness and engagement initiatives within the Student Welfare and Support teams.

As such, you will be responsible for:

Monitoring and managing the team inbox, responding to general enquiries and escalating where appropriate Processing incoming student referrals, including triaging low-risk concerns, allocating to appropriate team members, and providing relevant resources Maintaining accurate records and databases, including updating Excel spreadsheets and internal systems Assisting in the coordination and administration of internal wellbeing projects Supporting the planning and delivery of wellbeing events and awareness campaigns Assisting with logistics, communications and promotional materials for events and campaigns Contributing to the development and delivery of outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing services Supporting the creation and distribution of wellbeing resources and communications

What we're looking for




To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:

Prior administrative experience, ideally within a higher education or student support setting Awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues affecting students in education Further training or qualifications in administration, mental health or student support would be advantageous Prior experience supporting events, campaigns, or outreach activities would be beneficial Ability to plan, prioritise and be accountable for own work Self-reflective, with highly developed interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Highly organised with the ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks effectively Excellent digital literacy skills and competent using a variety of online/digital tools
