MEP Project Director

At Kier we're looking for an MEP Project Director to join and operate within our Major Projects sector.



You will lead the delivery of a major construction project in the Life Sciences/Healthcare sector where you'll drive excellence across safety, quality, commercial performance, and team leadership ensuring every project meets our high standards and client expectations




Location:

Office/Site-based. Location likely to be split between Rushden and London

Business Unit:

Kier Mechanical & Electrical (Kier Strategic Projects)

Reporting to:

Operations Director

Working Hours:

Full-time, Permanent. May require some travel/staying away




What will you do?





As the MEP Project Director you will:


Lead the design and construction process from concept to completion Ensure compliance with SHE standards and promote a safety-first culture Manage project strategy, programme delivery, and stakeholder communication Oversee commercial performance, cost control, and contract compliance Develop and empower project teams, ensuring high performance and succession planning Maintain strong client relationships and represent Kier professionally

What do you need?




Degree/HND in Construction and professional qualification (or working towards) Proven track record delivering major projects Exposure to technically challenging sectors would be advantageous. CSCS and SMSTS accreditation Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
