WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Maintain relationships with core garment suppliers and shareholders, ensuring a strong business relationship Assist with supplier cost price, lead time and payment term negotiations Assist with the creation of stock and sales performance reports, highlighting opportunities to drive sales Manage pricing across categories to achieve a competitive position, without compromising profitability Maximize the performance of your products by establishing a good understanding of your range, competitors and the wider retail market Build collaborative relationships across all departments to help maximize sales, profit and efficient stock management Constantly be on the look-out for improving and bringing in the best possible products, checking reviews as well as refund reports

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar fast paced role - experience with garment buying or purchasing is essential Experience working with overseas suppliers, typically from the East Asia region Dynamic and eager to learn and develop within our company Negotiation skills and comprehensive commercial awareness, with the ability to identify trends and consider the impact on stock levels Excellent numerical and analytical skills - proficient in the use of Excel, as well as being confident on other Microsoft programs Able to find and extract data and develop a full understanding and awareness of business systems Ability to work proactively and re-actively in a fast-paced environment, and keep calm under pressure and when completing multiple tasks Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in a team Self-motivated, extremely organised with a good eye for detail Have good knowledge of a WSSI tool and category planning
