Mandarin Stone is a leading importer of natural stone and porcelain products in the UK. We are a family run business that has grown into a very successful and reputable company within the industry. Our Head Office is based in the beautiful Wye Valley in the Welsh border town of Monmouth We have 16 inspirational showrooms across the UK and are currently recruiting for a Sample Assistant to join out Samples Team on a 3-month fixed contract, with the possibility of extending the contract.

The Role:

You will be responsible for being part of the smooth running of the post room, ensuring that all deadlines are met, and all daily tasks are completed.

Duties include:

- Ensure all cut samples are produced, sorted and replenished in a timely manner.

- To process all brochure and sample requests ensuring that they are picked, packed and dispatched in the correct timeframe.

- To ensure that all parcels are picked, packed and dispatched in the correct timeframe.

- Make sure that all product labels and point of sale materials are correct and up to standard.

- Operating a saw to cut down larger tiles to small sample size.

Experience:

You do not need prior industry experience before you join as we provide on the job training. We look for people who are motivated, can work independently and as part of a team, have good attention to detail and good time management.

Working Hours:

Working hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday and 9:00 am - 12:30 pm on your choice of either alternate or one in three Saturdays.

Salary:

12.30 per hour which equates to 30,221.10 per annum on alternate Saturdays or 29,760.88 per annum on one in three Saturdays.
