We are looking for a positive, self-motivated Paediatric Dietetic assistant with an interest in providing outstanding clinical care across Merton community clinics. Your role will be to provide advice and treatment to children and young people with a range of needs including allergies and intolerances, nutrition and hydration advice, faltering growth with/ without reflux, weight management and fussy eating. The role will include work with children and young people and their carers under the guidance of the senior dietician. You will work closely with established multi-professional teams within Merton Community services and with outside services to deliver Paediatric dietetics support with the dieticians meeting the needs of children and young people across Merton.
You will have had experience of working with children in the community or similar and your communication and team working skills will be excellent. We are committed to professional development and evidence-based practice, offering regular in-service training and peer group / one to one supervision. Internal and external courses are supported. You will be required to have at least 2 years experience working within the community with appropriate transferable skills working with children, administrative duties, and be willing to further develop clinical skills for a busy community caseload.
