Fit Out UK is a leading specialist in high-end interior fit-outs and relocation services across Retail, Leisure, Commercial, and Residential sectors. We are opening our brand-new, state-of-the-art production facility in Doncaster and are now seeking an experienced

Production Manager

to lead and drive our sheet metal manufacturing operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and develop the entire production team (including metalworks, fabrication, and assembly) to deliver high-quality output on time and within budget Oversee daily production planning, scheduling, and shopfloor management using the 123 production system Develop and maintain a robust

Department Capacity Plan

, forecasting resources and labour requirements in partnership with senior management Drive operational efficiency by implementing and monitoring shopfloor schedules, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives Take full responsibility for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of key machinery including

Bystronic laser cutting systems

Ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards, working closely with the Factory Manager to uphold and enhance the Health & Safety Plan Manage production budgets, material usage, and waste reduction to maximise profitability Provide regular progress reports, resource plans, and performance updates to the senior leadership team Be flexible and proactive in supporting the successful ramp-up of our new facility

(essential) Strong commercial awareness with excellent numerical and analytical skills to improve efficiency and profitability Demonstrable track record of leading and motivating production teams in a fast-paced environment Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules, workflows, and resource planning A proactive, safety-first mindset with experience implementing and enforcing health & safety policies Experience using production management software (123 system experience is a bonus)
