Required from September 2025, the Governors are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, caring individual to join our team of mid-day assistants, supervising our children in Reception through to Year 6 during meal times and outdoor play and games, acting as a positive role model.
The school is looking for applicants who would be interested in this part time role and have some experience of working with children.
Duties will include:
Working for 5 sessions a week at the hours stated above
Carrying out supervising duties on the playground or in the dinner hall
Cleaning, clearing and putting away tables
Attending training sessions and meetings during school time
To work as a Mid-day assistant you will be required to:
Have experience of working with children (voluntary or paid)
Hold a first aid certificate or be willing to attend a course
This would be a great way forward for anyone looking to work in a school and fit this role in around their childcare or other shift work commitments.
