Stanton Primary School, Stanton 7.5 hours per week, 38 weeks a year - Permanent Monday to Friday, 11.45am - 1.15pm Salary: 23,657 per annum Actual salary: 3,966 per annum
We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our dedicated team of lunchtime staff at Stanton Primary School. The position is suitable for all ages - a keen, adaptable, and positive personality is the main requirement. A good sense of humour, the ability to work as part of a team, and a love of being outside in all weathers are essential qualities for this role. An understanding of basic first aid procedures would be an advantage, although training will be provided.

The successful candidate will support the kitchen team with the clearance of the hall during and after service and will directly supervise pupils throughout the lunchtime break, from the end of morning school until the start of the afternoon session. You will oversee all areas where pupils gather during the lunch break, including the playground, library, lunch hall, and playing field. Part of the role will involve instigating playground games to ensure children are engaged in positive play and maintaining an acceptable standard of conduct and safety as set out in school policies.

We are seeking someone who is honest, reliable, and hardworking, with a patient, caring, and gentle approach. You will be a good role model for the children, demonstrating positive and consistent behaviour management skills in line with school policies. You should be able to follow written guidance and procedures, have basic computing skills to access online training, and be willing to undertake training to support new initiatives.
