Verwood CE First School is looking for a Midday Supervisor to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?



Actual Salary 2,765 per annum (Grade 1 24,413 FTE))



This job is Part Time - Term Time Onlyfor 5 hours per week and 38 weeks per year.



It is offered on a Permanent basis.



Approximate start date 01-Dec-2025.



We are looking for someone who can;


Supervise pupils in designated areas of the school during the midday break Establish safe and appropriate behaviour Assist pupils with the collection of food and return trays to the service counter Assist in the setting up and removal of furniture where necessary

Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has previous experience of working in a school, and who has experience of following procedures and processes.



This role will involve working 1 hour per day, Monday - Friday.

Keeping Children Safe in Education



The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
