Job Description
The Governors are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to work as part of a team, ensuring that children have a safe and enjoyable lunchtime.
Candidates should:
Be enthusiastic about working with children from 3 -11 years
Act as a positive role model
Organise and oversee children during indoor and outdoor play times and in the lunch hall.
Be energetic and imaginative
Key Responsibilities:
> Supervise children to and from the school dining room
> Supervise children before, during and after he meal, including supervising of children to deposit leftover food
> Ensure that any debris left by children with packed lunches is removed/cleaned
> Assist children with their table manners and use of cutlery, including assisting with cutting of meat (etc.) for younger children
> Ensure dining room equipment is hygienically maintained
> Set up and clear away dining room equipment e.g. tables and chairs
> Take prompt and effective action to deal with hazards in accordance with local procedures
> Promote the safeguarding and wellbeing of children
> Attend meetings as required, including participating in training
> Contribute to the overall ethos of the school
> Ad hoc duties as required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 4,367.00 per year
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
