The Headteacher and Governing Body at Clytha Primary School are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our happy school. This will be a fixed term contract initially with the potential of becoming a permanent contract and will commence on the 1st September, 2025 or as close to this date as possible.



A Midday Supervisors' typicial duties are monitoring lunches, clearing food trays, cleaning tables and supporting children both whilst eating their dinner and when they go out to play. Our Midday Superviser plays with the children and helps set up the hall for lunchtimes. Lunchtimes are busy and occasionally children fall and hurt themselves and our Midday Superviser is first-aid trained and able to suipport with minor accidents.



Full training for this role will be organised, if successful.

The Governing Body and Local Authority are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.



This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).



The post is offered on a part time basis of 6 hours and 15 minutes per week, over 38 weeks per year (term time only). Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 12.25pm till 1.40pm. Holidays must be taken during school holiday periods. There is also an expectation that you would attend any essential training sessions such as Safeguarding, Team Teach or First Aid.
