Midday Supervisor to manage the sports area in the playground
Salary:
Inner London Pay Scale 2 (27,711 - 28,128); pro rata starting salary: 5,831
Role Summary
The Midday Supervisor is a key member of the school team, responsible for supervising students during lunch breaks. Reporting to the Duty Lead on a daily basis and managed by the Director of Finance and Resources, the post holder plays an important role in ensuring a safe and positive lunchtime environment.
This particular post will primarily involve managing students using the sports facilities in the playground during lunchtime. It is well-suited to someone with a strong interest in supporting young people to develop their sporting skills in a structured and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during lunch breaks, particularly those participating in sports and activities in the playground.
Promote positive, active play and help maintain healthy student relationships.
Monitor and manage student behaviour, ensuring safety and respectful use of school facilities.
Uphold and demonstrate the school's GREAT values consistently.
The ideal candidate will be resilient, well-organised, and committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students.
Hours:
12:30 - 14:15 daily
Weeks:
38 weeks per year (term time only)
