Keeping our children safe and happy is essential. Kirby Hill C of E Primary School are looking to appoint a hardworking Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our ambitious and supportive staff team, starting in September.



Monday - Friday 11.45am - 12.45pm (5 hrs/week) TTO



MSAs work alongside members of the staff team to secure a caring and safe environment for pupils during the midday break.

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant to the staff team who will help secure a caring and safe environment for pupils during their lunch hour whilst ensuring high levels of hygiene are maintained at all times.

As a Midday Supervisory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and secure environment for children during their lunch break. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Supervising children during lunch both indoors and outdoors Monitoring pupil behaviour to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Assisting children with their lunch needs and promoting good table manners. Organising and facilitating playground activities. Providing first aid assistance when necessary. Reporting any incidents or concerns to the appropriate school staff.



Key Responsibilities:




Supervise and engage with children during lunchtime and . Ensure the safety and well-being of all children. Encourage positive behaviour and conflict resolution. Support children in following school rules and procedures. Assist in the setup and clean up of lunch areas.



Qualifications:




Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations. Basic first aid knowledge is a plus. Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
