Due to our extensive growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Middleweight Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in building, maintaining, and optimising websites, along with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage projects independently. This role requires both creative and technical proficiency, as you'll be working across design, development, and client communication.

Duties

Design, build, and maintain websites using

WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

. Manage projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide effective solutions. Optimise websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices. Use

Photoshop

(or similar tools) to edit and prepare graphics for web use. Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes efficiently. Communicate with clients and team members in a clear, professional manner, including over the phone. Keep up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Proficiency in

WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to run projects independently. Excellent communication skills, including a confident and professional phone manner. Experience with

Photoshop

(or similar design tools). A keen eye for detail and a proactive problem-solving approach. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of SEO principles and analytics tools.
