About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled and self-sufficient
Mid-Weight Video Editor
to join our rapidly growing agency. Based near London Bridge Station (3 days in-office, 2 days remote), this role is ideal for someone with substantial experience in fast-paced production environments who thrives when taking full ownership of video projects from initial brief to final delivery.
You should be confident working independently, contributing creative direction, and elevating raw footage into standout social content that drives performance across channels. If you're fluent in short-form editing styles, understand the nuances of digital culture, and know how to craft high-impact, platform-optimised videos with minimal supervision, this role is made for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the editing of high-quality short-form content for both paid social ads and organic social channels.
Work closely with our in-house video production team -- who film all content on-site -- to shape narratives, refine pacing, and produce polished edits that align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
Deliver platform-optimised content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging formats, applying best practices and performance-driven insights.
Confidently use motion graphics, dynamic text, colour grading, sound design, and creative transitions to elevate the final output.
Bring proactive, creative ideas to every project -- suggesting stylistic directions, new editing approaches, and innovative content formats.
Stay ahead of social trends, editing styles, and platform shifts to ensure our content remains competitive, modern, and creatively distinctive.
Efficiently manage multiple projects at once, owning timelines, ensuring quality, and delivering consistent excellence under pressure.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients, providing expert input, interpreting feedback accurately, and steering edits toward impactful final versions.
What We're Looking For
Solid professional experience as a video editor (agency, production studio, or in-house brand experience strongly preferred).
A deep understanding of short-form editing, social-first storytelling, and what drives performance on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (experience in DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is also valuable).
Strong motion graphics capability; After Effects proficiency is highly desirable.
A refined eye for pacing, structure, narrative flow, and visual detail.
Ability to work independently, take full ownership of projects, and deliver high-quality edits without heavy guidance.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach -- always looking for ways to elevate content creatively and strategically.
Bonus if you have:
Experience with 3D software (Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.)
Skills in video performance analysis, data interpretation, and applying insights to editing decisions
