The ideal candidate will possess at least an NVQ Level 2 qualification in welding and have practical experience operating a variety of fabrication and engineering workshop machinery, including cutting, punching, folding, rolling, and bending equipment.
Candidates should exhibit strong attention to detail, a commitment to delivering high-quality, custom-made products, and the ability to accurately document processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on bespoke fabrications, small production runs, and innovative design projects.
Experience with technical drawings and CAD software is preferable, along with familiarity with component preparation and coating techniques--though a willingness to develop skills in these areas is highly appreciated. Basic manual machining skills are also considered beneficial.
The position offers an hourly rate ranging from approximately 15 to 20, depending on experience.
