Job Title: Feed Mill Operative
Weigh vitamins and minerals to be included in the manufacturing of feeds. Operate the mill from the control room to manufacture feed. Ensure feed samples are taken as required. Replenish any diminished bagged material stock within the warehouse area of the mill. Liaise with the Production Manager ensuring orders are manufactured in the correct order. Load and weigh vehicles in and out of the weighbridge, ensuring vehicles loaded with finished feed are loaded correctly. Sample and test raw materials entering the mill as required. Ensure all production records are kept as required. Report any machinery or software faults to maintenance as soon as the arise and assist in conducting basic repairs to machinery if required.
Any other duties as required by the Mill Manager.
28 Days holiday including Bank Holidays.
35 hours per week average.
Day shifts and Afternoon shifts: - 6am-1pm and 1pm-8pm.
