We are seeking reliable and compassionate Minibus Drivers to join our team, transporting children with special educational needs to and from schools in the Birmingham area. This is a rewarding role where you will play a vital part in supporting families and ensuring children travel safely, comfortably, and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a minibus to transport children with special needs between home and school. Ensure the wellbeing, safety, and comfort of all passengers at all times. Maintain excellent timekeeping and follow assigned routes and schedules. Work closely with passenger assistants/escorts to support the needs of the children during journeys. Carry out basic vehicle checks and ensure the minibus is kept clean and presentable. Adhere to all road safety, safeguarding, and company policies.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with
Category D1 entitlement
. ValidDriver CPC qualification
. A clearEnhanced DBS check
(required for working with children). Good communication skills, patience, and a caring attitude. Ability to maintain professionalism and reliability at all times.What We Offer:
