Minibus Driver - Care Home
Location: Thimbleby Court, Horncastle
Bank Contract| 12.30 per hour| Meaningful Work
Are you a reliable and friendly driver with a passion for making a difference in people's lives?
We are looking for a Minibus Driver to join our dedicated team at Thimbleby Court, supporting our residents with safe, comfortable, and enjoyable transport to appointments, social outings, and activities in the local community.
What you'll do:
Transport residents to medical appointments, day trips, and local events Ensure the minibus is clean, safe, and well-maintained Assist residents on and off the vehicle in a kind and respectful manner Work closely with care staff to coordinate transport needs Maintain accurate records of journeys and vehicle checks
What we're looking for:
A full, clean UK driving licence Due to the company insurance, drivers must be over 21 years of age and have held their driving licence for 3 years or more Previous driving experience Someone who holds or is willing to undertake the MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) assessment Friendly, patient, and professional manner Understanding of the needs of older people and those with mobility issues A commitment to health & safety and safeguarding standards
