Salary:

Grade 2: 14,572 - 15,277 actual salary per annum (25,185 - 26,403 FTE)

Working pattern:

25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days)

The role:



Allestree Woodlands School are looking for a Minibus Driver to join our student transport team. The role is for 25 hours per week, term time, however additional hours may also be available as required by the school.

The role will include driving one of the school's minibuses, transporting students to:

The school to start the day and returning students after school. Sporting fixtures after school hours. Curriculum related trips. Visits during and after school hours. Taking students between other educational sites during school hours. Collecting and returning students who attend the school before and after school.
You will also be required to supervise the safety of students during visits whilst you are not driving.

The person:



The successful applicant must hold a full UK driving licence including category D1 or D. You should also be willing to undertake further driver safety training prior to starting. The post would be ideally suited to an applicant who has a sense of responsibility for today's young people and who is able to work flexible hours.
