PEP Pilton Equalities Project is a charity working with elderly and vulnerable people. We provide community transport for organisations in and around the North Edinburgh area. We are seeking an additional driver to join our friendly team.
In this role you will be-
Driving a PEP accessible minibuses to transport passengers from their homes to their destinations in a comfortable, caring manner, ensuring their safety.
Part of a team of drivers and passenger assistants on our fleet of minibuses.
Responsible for the day to day maintenance of your allocated vehicle.
Always be punctual, reliable and well organised.
Be approachable and friendly.
Must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
Have a D1 entitlement to drive 9 - 16 seat vehicle.
You will need to obtain a PVG disclosure which we will organise for you.
Complete a MIDAS training course which we will organise for you and guide you through.
Full training will be given on helping our group members getting on and off our minibuses as some have limited mobility and maybe wheelchair users.
