Skin Medical is a well-established, CQC-regulated minor surgery clinic based in Manchester city centre. We are committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and high-quality medical and aesthetic care within a professional clinical environment. Due to continued growth and increasing patient demand, we are seeking an experienced and motivated doctor to join our multidisciplinary team.

The Role

We are looking for a suitably qualified doctor with experience in performing minor surgical procedures to work within our clinic on a part-time PAYE basis or as a self-employed practitioner. The successful candidate will deliver a range of in-clinic procedures, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and care. Our CQC is for minor surgeries under local anaesthetics only.

This role is ideal for a doctor seeking flexibility while working in a modern, well-supported private medical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform minor surgical procedures safely and competently, including but not limited to: Upper Blepharoplasty , Snoring procedures, Cyst, lipoma, and benign lesion removal, Other minor surgical and dermatological procedures within scope of practice Conduct thorough patient consultations, assessments, and consent processes Provide excellent pre- and post-procedure patient care and follow-up Maintain accurate, compliant medical records in line with CQC and GMC standards Work collaboratively with nursing, administrative, and management teams Adhere to all clinical governance, infection control, and safeguarding protocols

Essential Requirements

GMC-registered doctor with a licence to practise Minimum 2-3 years post-registration experience (or equivalent) Proven experience in minor surgery within a clinical setting Strong understanding of patient safety, consent, and CQC compliance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, ethical, and patient-centred approach

Desirable Experience

Experience performing blepharoplasty and snoring-related procedures Background in dermatology, ENT, plastic surgery, GP with special interest, or aesthetic medicine Previous experience working in a private or CQC-regulated clinic
