Bauvill Facilities is a growing Facilities Management (FM) company based in Rochester, Kent. Due to high demand, we are expanding our Minor Works team and are looking for a Minor Works Estimator to support both quoting and tender pricing across our client base.

The Role

This is an office-based role focused on pricing minor works and tenders for all clients. Project values range from 500 up to 250,000. You will be responsible for producing accurate quotations, pricing minor works tenders, and meeting fast turnaround times for smaller reactive works.

We average around 15 quotes a day, so the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and issue quotations for minor works across multiple trades Price and assist with minor works tenders, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes Obtain material pricing from suppliers Liaise with in-house labour teams and approved subcontractors to obtain labour costs Work closely with the Bauvill Ltd estimating team as part of the wider group Manage a high volume of quotations with quick turnaround times Maintain accurate records of quotations, tenders, and supplier pricing Hand over all successful tenders and awarded works to the Head of Projects to enable full operational delivery

Requirements

Experience in estimating, pricing, or a similar commercial role Background in FM, construction, or building services preferred Experience pricing minor works tenders is desirable Strong understanding of labour and material pricing Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines High level of attention to detail and commercial awareness Confident communicator with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams Good IT skills, including Excel and estimating software

Working Hours & Benefits
