Contract Type: Permanent Part Time 22 hours per week
Reference: REC2139 | Closing Date: Sunday, 1st June 2025
The Opportunity
As our MIS Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our essential systems and services that underpin the department's daily operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date data across a range of Management Information Systems, helping to ensure that records are reliable and that reporting meets both internal and external requirements. Your attention to detail will help support data accuracy for enrolments, withdrawals, learner progression and attendance, all of which are fundamental to departmental planning and compliance.
You'll support our teaching and curriculum staff by providing timely MIS reports, managing the student enrolment process, monitoring register completion and ensuring that all data is collected and submitted in line with college and funding regulations. You'll also play a key part in managing the departmental timetable from a data perspective, liaising with our staff to resolve any issues and ensure schedules run smoothly.
Alongside your MIS duties, you'll also handle a range of administrative and financial tasks. From managing petty cash and processing orders to supporting departmental events and maintaining internal systems. You'll also be the first point of contact for visitors at our Honeywell Sport Centre, offering a professional and approachable front-of-house service.
This role offers a varied workload where your organisational skills, discretion and ability to work well with others will be essential. You'll be part of a supportive team, contributing to the wider success of the department by keeping key processes running accurately and on time.
This is a great opportunity to build or develop your career in a professional education setting while gaining valuable experience in data management, administration, and finance.
About You
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and confident working with data and administrative systems. You'll need to be comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can shift, and able to manage your workload efficiently while maintaining accuracy in everything you do.
You'll take the initiative, communicate clearly and work well both independently and as part of a friendly team. You should have experience in administrative work--ideally within education or a similarly structured environment--and be confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and databases. Experience with college systems like ProSolution or ProMonitor would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
A positive, approachable attitude is important, especially as you'll be providing front-of-house support at our Honeywell Sport Centre and liaising with students, staff and external visitors. You'll need to handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure that all work complies with data protection and college policies.
If you're someone who takes pride in delivering a high standard of work and wants to contribute to a team that supports our students' success, then you could be a great fit for this role.
