Location: Remote



Contract: Permanent, Full-time 35 hours per week,

We're recruiting an experienced MIS Manager to join our quality and compliance team, supporting the delivery of funded education and training programmes across England. If you're an expert in

What You'll Be Doing



You'll oversee our Management Information Systems function, ensuring accuracy, funding compliance, and efficient data reporting across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

Data & System Management



Maintain MIS systems (including Maytas) and learner records Lead on ILR submissions and R14 Hard Close Oversee apprenticeship DAS account and changes to learner status Ensure data quality across start, achiever, leaver, break-in-learning tracking Support reporting on programme outcomes and funding streams

Compliance & Audit Readiness



Conduct internal audits and compliance checks Maintain the Risk Register and resolve data anomalies Prepare for external audits and inspections

Finance & Funding Support



Track co-investment, employer incentives, and reconciliation processes Work with finance teams to align funding with financial reporting Monitor and support funding rules compliance for all delivery

Reporting & Analysis



Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards and advanced reports Monitor PDSAT reports and resolve issues Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports for strategic and operational use

System & Process Improvement



Lead on process reviews and continuous improvement initiatives Provide training and support across internal teams Ensure records meet DfE funding rules at all times

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in MIS management within education, apprenticeships, or training In-depth knowledge of DfE funding rules, ILR reporting, and audit readiness Strong experience using Maytas (essential) Excellent data accuracy, compliance monitoring, and reporting skills A knack for turning complex data into clear insights - especially using PowerBI and SQL Strong communication skills - confident presenting data to non-technical teams A proactive, detail-focused, and collaborative mindset

Desirable (but not essential):



Experience with apprenticeship funding and co-investment tracking Familiarity with PDSAT, audits, and external compliance standards Process improvement and risk management experience
