This role sits within the well-established Cirencester College MIS team with a key responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of our student data and timetables.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to find efficient and effective solutions for checking student records and timetables.
You'll be working in a changing team, joining both new and longer serving staff, working to continuously develop a strong MIS (Management Information Systems) service for the college. We are always learning and developing as a team to get the most out of our time and the resources that we have.
Strong IT skills are a must as much of this role involves handling data and information using excel and other sector specific tools.
The postholder will be expected to:
Ensure student records data are up to date, accurate, funding compliant, useful and available
Ensure timetables and data are available to College stakeholders and reported correctly in a timely and useful format
Provide instruction and familiarisation to appropriate staff across the College such that they can use College systems effectively
Support wider College data management and administrative processes
If you have experience, there will be opportunity for this role to include data report writing/analysis using tools such as SQL and Power BI.
This role is a great opportunity for someone to progress from another administrator or logistics related role, who has a genuine interest in giving excellent customer service.
