We are looking for an engaging and motivated high ropes team leader to support our team of instructors to deliver engaging activity sessions to young people and their adults! This role will require the management of a team of like-minded individuals, ensuring that activity runs in accordance with operational guidance and that the course is run safety, efficiently and is of excellent quality for our visitors.


Our High Ropes course is a fast-paced activity and will require you oversee a team of instructors who will supervise different stations to create a safe, fun environment for all participants. Within this role you will need to be comfortable working at height and handling potentially tricky situations in a challenging environment. You will also be involved in greeting customers, issuing PPE, dealing with enquiries, problem solving and managing complaints.


You also will be responsible for completing routine inspections, completing staff observations and conducting periodical refresher training. You will also run team huddles and create daily schedules to support the team in their daily duties. You may also be required to support the park team to ensure that standards of safety are high, activities are well-managed and that our customers are having an EPIC day out!


Our High Ropes position is initially a seasonal role starting February 2026 until the end of September 2026, with the potential to extend for the right candidate. No qualifications are necessary for this role as you will receive full in-house training for the High Ropes Course and for the Mission Out park to fulfil this role. Experience working in a high ropes or adventure park setting is essential as is some experience leading a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend training sessions, updates or practices when required to do so, to keep your skills and knowledge up to date. Responsible for set-up, pack down and overall safe and planned operation of the High Ropes. Prepare team schedules and hold huddles and briefings with team daily. Ensure relevant paperwork is completed and complies with company and industry safety rules. To deliver a safe, professional, and fun experience to all visitors. Understand how to report and remove equipment that does not meet safe standards. Comply with all relevant Health & Safety procedures. Supervise the course and maintain high levels of safety. Assist visitors with enquiries, complaints, 1st aid calls, lost children and evacuation procedures as required. Work with supervisors and managers to plan rotas and events, manage staffing levels and timesheets, oversee provision of annual leave.
