Gallagher Aggregates are seeking for a Mixer Driver to join our team.
We have positions available in Maidstone.
As a Mixer Driver you will report directly to the Transport Manager. Day to day reporting will be to the Plant Supervisor. Your primary responsibility as a mixer driver is the delivery of readymix concrete to our client base within Kent and the surrounding areas of your specific plant.
Expected hours:
Monday - Friday: 07.00 to 17.30 (10hrs)
Saturday: On rota when required 07.00 to 13.00.
Salary:
Competitive salary dependent on experience.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Delivering ready mix concrete to our client within Kent. Monitoring and adjusting concrete slump when required. Correct completion of tablet based MOBILEticket system. Daily defect reporting. Daily drum and discharge equipment maintenance including build up cleaning and greasing. General duties as required around the Plant.
Candidate Required Skills and Qualifications:
Believe in and uphold our company values. Right to Work in the UK. Be hard working and flexible. 6/12 months HGV 2 experience. Mixer Truck experience desirable (training will be given). Experience of construction type vehicles is desirable. Hold a full clean HGV 2 Driving Licence. (Cat C).
