ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a Mixing Operative to join our Ross-on-Wye manufacturing site. You'll predominantly, but not exclusively be working a 12-hour day shift 6am - 6pm Monday to Thursday.
The role reports into the Production Team Leader and the primary purpose is mixing ingredients, liquid sugar production and cleaning of equipment used. You'll be ensuring the correct preparation of recipes and that our procedures are adhered to without deviation. The role also provides support and cover to the packaging lines and interacts with numerous parties to ensure that the production activities are achieved.
You will have a fantastic opportunity to play a valuable role in our Nichols journey, helping us to 'Make Life Taste Better' for everyone!
YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
Ensuring required daily workload is completed on time, in full and to the approved standards.
Following SOPs and Approved Recipe master mixing instructions to ensure we have the best soft drinks and mixers available and completed right first time.
Completing a range of tasks including (but not limited to) mix preparation, machine operating, sugar production, liquid product quality sign off, CIP, downtime monitoring and work area cleanliness.
Ensure that all raw materials are accurately added to the work order and updated within SAP.
Support the coverage of skills across shift, being able to substitute for production operative if required in periods of leave.
