We are seeking a HIGHLY EXPERIENCED, talented and enthusiastic Mixologist to join our brand new team in our luxury lounge. The ideal candidate will craft innovative and classic cocktails, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to a lively atmosphere.
This position will enable your leadership skills to flourish as we intend for our newest mixologist to adopt a training responsibility to all new bar staff. We also want you to use everyday as an opportunity to display your creativity through your passion for cocktails... making every customer experience memorable.
MINIMUM 3 YEARS MIXOLOGIST EXPERIENCE!
Full time only - 36-40 hours a week
Candidate must be available: Thursday - Sunday
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalised recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure the availability of ingredients and supplies.
Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
Ensure all bar staff are well informed and trained to standard with regards to all drinks on the menu
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods and events.
Stay informed about new cocktail trends, ingredients, and techniques to enhance service quality.
Skills
Proven track record of working as a mixologist within a hospitality environment. References must be available.
Must be able to keep up with the lounge's busy demand, whilst keeping the quality of service & beverages consistent.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards relevant to beverage preparation.
Excellent customer service skills with a personable approach to guest interactions.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts.
Basic mathematical skills for handling payments and measuring ingredients accurately.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within a team environment under pressure.
Knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and presentation standards is ESSENTIAL. This role is only suitable for someone that is passionate about hospitality and mixology, providing valuable experience in a professional setting while ensuring guests receive top-quality service.
