Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Area Inspector to oversee the quality and performance of cleaning services across multiple schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site inspections, supporting staff, ensuring client satisfaction, and upholding health and safety standards. This role requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections of assigned sites to ensure cleaning standards are met
- Monitor staff performance and provide support, training, or feedback where needed
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
- Liaise with clients to address concerns, receive feedback, and build positive relationships
- Complete inspection reports and submit findings to management
- Check stock levels and report or coordinate supply restocking
- Support recruitment and onboarding of cleaning staff within the area
- Provide cover for absent staff where necessary
- Report incidents, damages, or operational issues promptly

Ideal Candidate:

- Previous experience in cleaning supervision or facilities management preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of cleaning procedures and health & safety practices
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (if travel is required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
