to join our enforcement team. In this role, you will be responsible for patrolling various areas to ensure compliance with parking and traffic regulations, issuing Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), and assisting the public with information on parking restrictions.
As a
mobile officer
, you will cover
multiple locations around your designated start point
, travelling between sites throughout the day. Candidates
must have access to their own vehicle
, which will be used for work purposes.
Mileage expenses will be reimbursed
in line with company policy.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while representing the organisation professionally in public.
Key Responsibilities
Patrol assigned areas by car and on foot to monitor parking and traffic compliance.
Identify, record, and issue
Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs)
to vehicles in contravention of parking regulations.
Accurately collect and record evidence using handheld devices and cameras.
Travel to
multiple enforcement locations
throughout the day, following a pre-planned schedule or as directed.
Provide clear and polite advice to the public about parking restrictions, permits, and enforcement policies.
Respond to incidents or service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Handle challenging situations with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
Report damaged signs, lines, or faulty parking equipment to supervisors.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports to support enforcement activity and appeals.
Ensure your vehicle is maintained in a safe, clean, and roadworthy condition for daily use.
Follow all health, safety, and lone-working procedures while carrying out patrol duties.
Requirements
Full UK driving licence and
access to your own reliable vehicle
(mileage reimbursed).
Willingness and ability to
travel to multiple locations
around your start area.
Good local knowledge and ability to navigate efficiently between sites.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Calm and professional approach when dealing with members of the public.
Basic IT and reporting skills (training will be provided).
Previous experience in enforcement, parking, or a public-facing role is desirable but not essential.
