We are seeking a dedicated Civil Enforcement Officer to join our team. This role involves ensuring compliance with local regulations, managing parking enforcement, and maintaining public safety within the community. Responsibilities
Enforce parking regulations and other local ordinances in designated areas
Issue penalty notices and tickets to vehicles or individuals in breach of regulations
Conduct inspections and monitor compliance with relevant laws and policies
Prepare detailed reports on enforcement activities, incidents, and observations
Engage professionally with members of the public, providing guidance and assistance where necessary
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective coverage of enforcement zones
Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents for reporting purposes
Attend training sessions to stay updated on regulatory changes and enforcement procedures
Skills
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively
Excellent report writing skills to document incidents accurately and comprehensively
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with the public and team members
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a dynamic environment
Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and enforcement procedures is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate mobility across different enforcement zones
