Our head office is in Union in Manchester City Centre - where you'll spend the majority of your working week. However we're also based across; Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham so they'll be occasional travel when needed.
This role is advertised for
40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Job purpose:
You'll manage a team of
5 Mobile Cleaners
who operate across the portfolio in the
North and Midlands
, conducting 1:1s and supporting the Mobile Cleaning team on a day to day basis, as well as getting involved in specialist cleaning duties when needed (75% management, 25% on the tools).
In addition you'll quote for mobile cleaning work from the inbound interest, considering cost and scheduling.
What we're looking for:
Managerial experience in a cleaning capacity, ideally of a similar sized team - managing a team that work remotely in different offices would be a bonus
Comfortable with managing rotas, scheduling work and quoting jobs on our IT system
Experience within some of these specialist cleaning areas; strip and sealing floors, steam/carpet/upholstery cleaning and building cleans
What you'll be doing:
Managing a team of 5 Specialist Cleaning team members including recruitment, training and development in the role.
Own the end to end journey of mobile quotes, from receiving the initial request and understanding customer needs, to supporting the quoting process and scheduling the work
Plan effectively to ensure colleagues are well trained, motivated and have the tools to do the job. Taking complete ownership of machinery, stock ordering and our fleet vehicles.
Working collaboratively with the wider team including Area Cleaning Managers and Commercial, to ensure that the various pieces of our service fit together perfectly for a seamless customer experience.
You'll be quality driven, pay attention to detail and ensure continuous improvement and efficiency, through clear processes, strong communication and health & safety compliance.
Being hands on and leading by example, for 25% of your time you'll be working directly alongside your team, ensuring jobs runs smoothly, completed on time and meet our high standards.
