is looking for an experienced

Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

to join its growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial buildings, carrying out maintenance, repairs, and installations on mechanical and gas systems.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the servicing, inspection, and testing of commercial gas and mechanical systems in accordance with current industry regulations. The position involves a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, breakdown response, and minor installation works -- ensuring systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably across multiple client sites.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas and mechanical systems. Inspect, test, and service plant and equipment in line with relevant standards. Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and complete necessary remedial works. Deliver corrective maintenance following technical instructions and procedures. Support refurbishment and small-scale installation projects, including commissioning and testing. Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

Fully qualified and experienced

Commercial Gas Engineer

. Strong technical background with excellent fault-finding skills. Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points). Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

BMP1

- Boosters, low pressure

CCN1

- Core domestic gas safety

CDGA1

- Commission/service/repair of commercial direct-fired appliances

CIGA1

- Commission/service/repair of commercial indirect-fired appliances

CODNCO1

- Changeover domestic natural gas to commercial natural gas

CPA1

- Combustion performance analysis

ICPN1

- Installation of commercial pipework

TPCP1A

- Testing and purging of low-pressure commercial pipework

Desirable:

CORT1

- Commission/service/repair of commercial overhead radiant heaters Familiarity with

Home Office Security Vetting (SC)
