is seeking an experienced
Mobile Electrical Supervisor
to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to take ownership of small works, installations, and maintenance projects while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across a diverse portfolio of commercial buildings.
Role Overview
As a working supervisor, you will oversee and deliver small-scale electrical projects, including plant replacements, system upgrades, and new installations. Alongside managing your own workload, you'll supervise a small team, coordinate workflows, and ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver small works projects, including electrical upgrades and new installations.
Conduct emergency lighting testing, power circuit installations, and inspections.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, including fault-finding and repairs.
Oversee and assist with controls and BMS-related works.
Produce accurate technical reports and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Support team organisation, resource planning, and act as the primary site contact.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Level 3 Electrical Qualification (e.g., 2357) and current 18th Edition certification.
Minimum five years' experience within commercial building services or facilities management.
Strong technical understanding and proven fault-finding ability.
Ability to fulfil the role of the company's
Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS)
.
Highly organised, proactive, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
IT literate (basic MS Office and digital reporting tools).
Desirable:
Experience planning and delivering small works or project schedules.
Knowledge of controls and BMS systems.
Broader understanding of building services, including mechanical systems.
Familiarity with
Home Office Security Vetting (SC)
processes.
