. This role involves the maintenance, servicing, and repair of air conditioning systems, including split units and VRV/VRF systems, with occasional work on selected refrigeration equipment.
You will work across a variety of manufacturer systems such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Midea, Toshiba, and LG. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting installation designs and manufacturer-specific diagnostics, as well as liaising with technical support teams when required. Accurate completion of documentation - including inspection reports and records of remedial work - is essential.
Key Responsibilities
:
Service, maintenance, and repair of AC systems and occasional refrigeration equipment
Operate across multiple sites within the education and local government sectors
Complete work-related documentation accurately and promptly
Work independently and as part of a team to ensure high standards are maintained
Key Requirements
:
Full, valid UK driving licence
Physically fit, with the ability to carry out manual handling, work at heights, and in confined spaces
Strong communication skills and proficiency with PDAs or handheld devices
Self-motivated and solutions-focused
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
:
Background in Maintenance or Facilities Management
FGAS & ODS regulations certified
C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent, with a time-served apprenticeship
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of work
