Job Description

Applicants must be based In Perth or within 5 miles of Perth (Please do not apply if you are not)

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Your job will mainly be using a water fed pole system for external window cleaning on residential and commercial properties across Scotland.

The successful applicants will be fully trained to clean other external areas such as facia/soffits/gutters, emptying of gutter systems and perhaps pressure washing If required.

We need applicants who like working outside in all weathers, throughout all seasons. (Sun, wind, rain, frost and everything in between)

Please do not waste your time or our time if you are not the type who prefers external working and are able to be self motivated as you will be working under your own supervision a large part of the time.

You must be able to work efficiently and enjoy working in different places each day.

Applicants must be at good working solo and also coming together as a team for larger scale projects.

Ladder work is infrequent but the ability to use a ladder would be seen as an advantage in your application.

Negative people should NOT apply.

We are looking for applicants to be available for overtime and occasional weekend work paid an enhanced rate.

Wages for non supervisor/manager roles start at 26,600

The above salary will he increased to 27,350 after 12-months service (loyalty increment).

Direct Shine pay overtime over the contracted 40hrs @ 16 per hour.

Direct Shine have a generous holiday package of 29 days growing by 1 days holiday for each year of service upto a maximum of 34 days.

Standard work pattern is Monday to Friday but overtime may be required at times with prior notice given and flexibilty to work Saturdays at times may be required at certain times in the year. (Paid at the enhanced rate)

Once trained a company van, fuel card, pension scheme and tablet will be issued to the successful applicant. (Tablet is to operate the company systems and Job routes)

Applicants should be good communicators, an eye for detail, and be physically fit.

We are fully focussed on excellent customer service, so a pleasant nature is vital for the role.
