Forklift Field Service Engineer / Materials Handling Technician - Tyne & Wear
Looking for your next hands on engineering role with a great salary and your own van? We're recruiting skilled forklift engineers and service technicians to join a fast-paced field service team in Tyne & Wear. Earn up to 38,000, work independently on customer sites, and get your own company van. A clean driving licence is essential.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspecting, servicing, and repairing forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Working safely and independently on customer sites, maintaining strong relationships.
• Completing accurate service documentation.
• Supporting both customer-owned and company machinery to ensure maximum uptime.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in materials handling, industrial machinery, or a similar technical role.
• Experience repairing plant machinery, forklifts, materials handling, powered access etc.
• Expertise across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently and safely on customer sites.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Clean driving licence.
