We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues with various types of vehicles. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance. This job is for a 5 day week with some Saturday hours extra hours Sunday if required wage depends on experience

Duties

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal functionality. Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques, including computer diagnostics. Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems as needed. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and advancements in technology related to mechanical work. Be able to communicate with customers and have good communication skills

Experience

Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential. Familiarity with various types of vehicles and machinery is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are a must. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within your own environment.
