Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in mobile device repair and maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving abilities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential services to our clients by diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mobile phones and related electronic devices.

Duties

Diagnose faults in mobile phones and electronic devices using schematics and diagnostic tools Repair or replace faulty components, including screens, batteries, and internal hardware Utilise hand tools effectively to disassemble and reassemble devices with precision Perform computer hardware repairs related to mobile devices, including software updates and troubleshooting Conduct routine maintenance on devices to ensure optimal performance Assist with computer networking setup and troubleshooting where applicable Follow safety protocols during equipment repair to prevent damage or injury Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used Test repaired devices to confirm functionality before returning to clients

Requirements

Proven experience in mobile phone repair or related electronic device maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge of electronic components and device construction Proficiency with hand tools used in electronics repair Familiarity with computer hardware, schematics, and basic computer repair techniques Knowledge of computer networking principles as they relate to device connectivity Ability to troubleshoot equipment repair issues efficiently and effectively Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards and procedures
