Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled mobile plant Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques, including TIG welding, and possess a strong understanding of fabrication and assembly processes. You will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on metal components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and specifications. Attending sites and carrying out welding repairs on plant.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for fabrication and assembly tasks. Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Work independently, you will be issued with a fully equipped vehicle.

Skills

Proficient in TIG welding and other welding methods. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with fabrication processes and assembly techniques. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
