The Role

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our MoD Operations team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning systems across multiple MoD sites, ensuring temperature and humidity standards are maintained in line with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance, installation and commissioning of equipment in line with SFG20 and industry standards Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs, or recommend remedial actions where required Undertake site surveys and inspections to support technical reporting and quotations for additional works Participate in a 24-hour emergency call-out rota to provide continuous technical support. Ensure full compliance with SHEQ policies and Health & Safety procedures, including attendance at Toolbox Talks Complete all electronic paperwork and site logbooks accurately via PDA to meet customer KPIs Support the supervision and monitoring of Specialist Service Providers (SSPs) to ensure quality and compliance

About You

NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (essential) City & Guilds 2079 (F-Gas) certification (essential) Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems (Daikin experience desirable) Good electrical knowledge; controls experience highly desirable Able to read technical drawings and work at height Confident using Microsoft Office and mobile technology Able to pass DBS / security vetting due to site requirements
