The Role

We're seeking an experienced

Mobile Service Engineer

to join our growing team. This varied role combines workshop-based maintenance with on-site service calls, installations, and customer support predominantly within a 50 mile radius of Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities:

To carry out servicing and inspections on specialist off road machinery (Training will be given) Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on machinery Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using technical drawings and schematics Conduct preventative maintenance to optimise equipment performance Maintain accurate service records and documentation Provide excellent customer service and technical support Collaborate with our workshop team on maintenance projects

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

2+ years maintenance/service engineering experience Must have experience servicing and maintaining mobile equipment Mechanical knowledge with ability to repair machinery Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Outstanding customer service abilities Must have own basic tool kit Full & clean UK driving licence Can-do attitude with willingness to work hard as part of our team

Personal Qualities:

Resourceful problem-solver who can think on their feet Would suit someone who has worked on HGV,s, plant, FLT's etc Adaptable team player willing to "roll with the punches" Motivated individual with passion for machinery and engineering Professional approach when representing the company on-site
