Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a
Mobile Service Engineer
to join our dedicated Service Division. This field-based role will predominantly cover the south of England.
Role Overview:
As a Mobile Service Engineer, you'll work independently, travelling to customer sites to service, maintain, and repair specialist Impact Protection Vehicles (IPVs), trailers, and bespoke traffic management equipment.
You'll play a vital role in upholding our reputation for high-quality service and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle-mounted traffic management equipment and trailers
Conduct routine maintenance and field modifications
Complete service documentation accurately and promptly
Maintain your service van, tools, and supplies
Build strong relationships with customers through professional communication
Stay informed on industry updates and innovations
Identify potential opportunities for additional services or equipment
Provide estimates and repair advice to customers when needed
Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
What We're Looking For:
Hands-on experience with 12/24v electrical systems and basic hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical drawings
Previous experience maintaining or repairing HGVs
Traffic management equipment experience is an advantage but not essential
Strong customer service and communication skills
A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Desire to learn and grow within the role
Full UK driving licence
